Enforcement Effort

On April 10th, 2024 the Arizona Registrar of Contractors Compliance team conducted a sweep in the Fountain Hills/Rio Verde area. This Enforcement Effort was led by AZ ROC Assistant Chiefs Wes Ellington and Alex Figueroa. 

Ten (10) AZ ROC Investigators participated in this sweep that resulted in the following:
Total Contacts: 140
Enforcement Action: 7 Warning letters issued to unlicensed entities for advertising without a license.

AZ ROC reminds home and property owners that if the entire cost of the project, including labor and materials is over $1,000 or requires a permit by the local municipality, Arizona law requires the person or business performing the work to be licensed.
